Comments
Except for BONAP, North American references don't recognize subspecies in Leonurus cardiaca. However, many European taxonomists recognize ssp. villosus (Desf. ex d’Urv.) Hyl., and it seems worthy of recognition at this rank. It has been reported from Canada and could potentially become introduced in the northern U.S. See this web page for an interesting account: https://alienplantsbelgium.myspecies.info/content/leonurus-cardiaca-subsp-villosus
