- Wet swales, ditches, powerline clearings, and old fields; usually in somewhat disturbed, ruderal habitats. Rare, s. and c. Coastal Plain; known historically from Surry, Sussex, and York counties, but recently collected in the cities of Suffolk and Chesapeake.
