- A cladistic study by Semple and Tebby (Int. Bot. Con. XVI, Abstract 2852, 1999) supported the separation of Bradburia from Chrysopsis. Native of the sc. US, introduced in VA, NC, SC, and FL.

- "Open gravelly flat 4 mi. SE of Boydton, Mecklenburg Co. (A.M. Harvill 32021 at GMUF); also collected in Montgomery County, the habitat not specified.
