- Habitat
- In superficial to deep peat of three mountain bogs in Giles County: Pinus rigida / Eriophorum virginicum bogs along North Fork Stony Creek, NE of Interior (Wieboldt 12262, 12265); Manns Bog on Potts Mountain, NE of Mountain Lake (Wieboldt s.n.). There are additional records from Wythe and New Kent (northern Coastal Plain) counties in Breil's atlas, but the documentation is unknown to us.
