First found in planters in 2010 and considered a waif. It has not only persisted but also spread into sidewalk cracks, along streets, and into vacant lots. Polycarpon tetraphyllum is also know from the SE Atlantic, Gulf and Pacific coastal states.
Habitat
Sandy, ruderal habitats such as sidewalk cracks, parking lots, vacant lots and waysides. Rare, known only from Virginia Beach City.
