Bogs, seepages, wet depressions, and seasonal ponds. Widespread in the Coastal Plain of southeastern Virginia; apparently disjunct to Giles County, where it has been collected several times in a forested "bog" on Potts Mountain (Biodiversity occurrence data published by DUKE, MO.
