A Eurasian tree, often planted and reported as a scattered escape in most northeastern U.S. states and North Carolina. Currently a rather rare adventive in urban areas of Virginia. It remains to be seen whether this species will become truly established in the state.
Habitat
Reported as an escape in the vicinity of plantings in Campbell, Fairfax, Henrico, and Montgomery counties.
