Comments
A robust grass, introduced from the lower Midwest. Apparently spreading quite rapidly in cultivated fields of eastern Virginia and much more frequent than records indicate.
Habitat
A problematic invader of cultivated fields, especially of corn, soybeans, tomatoes, and cotton. Infrequent but locally abundant in the Coastal Plain.
