- Comments
- Discovered at Fort Monroe by Patrick Baldwin in 1997; a likely introduction, being a single tree found on a disturbed dune. Literature reports of this species from Hog and Rogue Islands on the Eastern Shore, where likely native, have not been verified by specimens. The species is definitely native along the coast from Maryland northward.
- Habitat
- Disturbed dune on Bay shore; reported without vouchers from native dune shrublands on two Eastern Shore barrier islands.
- Native Status
- Not Specified
