- Habitat
- Sandy or rocky river shores and in adjacent railroad right-of-ways. Rare, Piedmont and mountains; known from along the Potomac River in Arlington and Fairfax counties, along the James River in Albemarle County, and along the Jackson River in Alleghany County.
