- Habitat
- First collected (1991) as a waif in an Albemarle County flower bed, where thought to be doubtfully persistent. In 2024, a large population was found in a sandy roadside ditch in King and Queen County, suggesting that the species could be occurring elsewhere in the Coastal Plain undetected.
