- Boulder at base of bluff, 1.5 miles north of McCoy, Giles County (Biodiversity occurrence data published by COLO. Accessed through Consortium of North American Bryophyte Herbaria (CNABH) Data Portal, http//:bryophyteportal.org/portal/index.php, 2015-02-10). Recently collected on a concrete headstone base at an old cemetery in Goochland County (Hayden 6265 at URV); and on mortar of an old stone wall in Cumberland State Forest (Hayden 6672 at URV); on a diabase outcrop along the Rappahannock River in Culpeper Co. (Quinn 906 at URV), and on an old foundation wall at the University of Richmond campus (Quinn 196 at URV).
