- This species was first reported from Virginia by McAvoy et als (2006) from Accomack Co., later adding Northampton Co. (McAvoy et als, 2011). It's discovery in Rockbridge Co. in 2015 suggests a much wider occurrence in Virginia. The species has a distinct blue-green color due to large blue oil bodies in the leaves.
