- State record discovered in 2025 by Jennifer Stanley. The species is a Midwestern disjunct, with isolated populations scattered throughout the Southeast and New England/New York.

- A total of 360 plants growing in a roadside right-of-way on diorite/gabbro, adjacent to a pine plantation. Species associated with a high diversity of native, remnant Piedmont prairie-affiliated herbs.
