- Collected in Chesterfield, Fauquier, Henrico, and Stafford counties. A European weed of cultivated fields and roadsides that is widely naturalized in n. North America, in areas mostly north of Virginia. It is considered invasive in some areas.

- Roadsides, weedy fields, waste areas. Rare, known from four Piedmont collections.
