- Comments
- Eupatorium linearifolium is closely related to E. glaucescens Ell., both often having been lumped under the name Eupatorium cuneifolium Willd. FNA synonymized E. glaucescens under E. linearifolium, but the Flora of the Southeastern U.S. (Weakley et al. 2023) treats them as distinct species and attributes both to Virginia. An examination of online specimen images confirms their distinctiveness and presence in the state.
