- Habitat
- Mesic to dry calcareous forests, woodlands, bluffs, and clearings over limestone and dolostone. Rare, sw. mountains (Ridge and Valley province); known from several localities in Lee County, especially in the vicinity of The Cedars, where it has proven to be rather frequent.
