- Found on creekbank in Richlands (Tazewell County) by Robert Wright in Sept. 2009; no cultivated plants seen in vicinity. More recently vouchered in Glen Carlyn Park, Arlington County and at Gravel Hill in South Richmond (Chesterfield Co.). This frequently cultivated species definitely escapes beyond the vicinity of plantings, but it remains to be seen whether it will become more fully naturalized.
