- First found in Virginia in October, 2018, in a very disturbed area and adjacent roadside in oak-dominated hardwoods on Sinking Creek Mtn. This introduced, Asiatic species is, apparently, beginning to spread in the central Appalachian region; it is more frequent in New England.
