- Comments
- Brock (2023) recently described this new species of Sabulina from carbonate-rock cliffs and outcrops in Georgia, Tennessee, Kentucky, Missouri, and Lee County, Virginia (The Cedars). It is similar to, and has been confused with, Sabulina patula. The paper suggests the possibility that it could occur on other limestone/dolostone barrens in southwest Virginia. Herbarium specimens labelled "Minuartia patula" need critical re-examination.
