- Draw-down shores and floating peat mats of natural ponds and old impoundments. Rare; known from four sinkhole ponds in the mountains (Augusta County) and an old millpond in the outer Coastal Plain (Accomack County); there is an additional historical (1898) record from the Coastal Plain in Fairfax County.
